Greetings friends and strangers, and welcome to The City of Arda. This is a place where all the races and creatures of Middle Earth come together peacefully in a warm, interactive and welcoming atmosphere. The Council and Triumvirate, who strive to continue improving the City for all of our valued patrons, run the City. The Council itself is elected by the people, making us a democratic chat community. The City was originally built by the race of Men to protect themselves against invasion from Orc hoards, but after the last great war against Sauron, the City has become the centre of a thriving community for all the peaceful races of Middle-Earth. The Charter has been followed for many years and states our laws and procedures. We hope that you are going to feel right at home during your visit here and will find your time here fun. At times you will see us have sims (online role plays), competitions, and trivia nights. Feel free to use the bar, but remember that Butterbur needs to be paid for the drinks you want. You can earn gold by chatting in the City, and by doing jobs at the City you can earn magical rings giving you different options in the chat. Once again, Welcome to The City of Arda!
